Working with Sandy has been a blessing from the beginning. She took over all aspects of our bookkeeping tasks including depositing our weekly offering, tracking donors, paying bills and generating month-end reports for our Board meetings. After a few months she streamlined things by converting our Peachtree Accounting system to QuickBooks Pro and now we make use of Classes to keep track of our various designated contribution funds. She is very flexible and easy to work with and is always willing to help us be more self-sufficient in order to reduce costs. During the busy and stressful time of opening a new retail business, Sandy helped us complete our QuickBooks Point of Sale setup and corrected some inventory valuation problems. She setup our QuickBooks Financials and quickly prepared the year-end and startup data to hand over to a CPA for tax preparation. We decided not to completely integrate the Point of Sale and financial applications and instead, we synchronize them on a regular basis. Now that the setup is complete, Sandy just comes in once per month to reconcile our accounts, synchronize the systems and prepare our month-end financial reports. It has been reassuring to see the reports on a monthly basis and to know that the data is accurate. For a new startup business, having accurate monthly P&L statements has been instrumental in assessing our business.
